Composition Notes
See Section 16 for the full text of the H statements declared above. There are no additional ingredients present which, within the current knowledge of the supplier and in the concentrations applicable, are classified as hazardous to health or the environment, are PBTs or vPvBs or have been assigned a workplace exposure limit and hence require reporting in this section. If REACH registration numbers do not appear the substance is either exempt from registration, does not meet the minimum volume threshold for registration, the registration date has not yet come due or this information is proprietary. If a dash (-) is shown in the CAS number field, please contact an Afton representative for information about the CAS and other chemical identity numbers used for global regulatory compliance. The EC substance definition and related classification & labelling have been developed in the framework of the regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006 (REACh). The related CAS number (*) is used for the purposes of the international inventories present in Section 15 of the SDS. Please note some GHS hazard classifications listed above may not be applicable in your country or region and are shown for informational purposes only.
Emergency First Aid Measures
Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies
๐ซ Inhalation Exposure
If inhaled, remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen.
๐๏ธ Skin Contact
Flush contaminated skin with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes.
๐๏ธ Eye Contact
Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower eyelids. Check for and remove any contact lenses. Get medical attention if irritation occurs.
๐ฝ๏ธ Ingestion/Swallowing
Wash out mouth with water. Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. If material has been swallowed and the exposed person is conscious, give small quantities of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel.
๐จ Immediate Medical Attention Required
Get medical attention if irritation occurs (eye contact) or if symptoms occur (inhalation, skin contact, ingestion). In case of inhalation of decomposition products in a fire, symptoms may be delayed, and the exposed person may need to be kept under medical surveillance for 48 hours.
Medical Treatment
No specific treatment.

Technical Specifications & Material Properties
Physical state, chemical properties, melting point, boiling point, and material characteristics
Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment
๐ญ Engineering Controls
Provide exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep the airborne concentrations of vapors below their respective threshold limit value.
๐งค Hand Protection
Wear chemical resistant gloves. Nitrile gloves of minimum thickness 0.4 mm breakthrough time of 480 minutes or less when in frequent contact with the product. Due to variable exposure conditions the user must consider that the practical use of a chemical-protective glove in practice may be much shorter than the Manufacturer's permeation time above. Manufacturer's directions for use, especially about the minimum thickness and the minimum breakthrough time, must be observed. This information does not replace suitability tests by the end user since glove protection varies depending on the conditions under which the product is used.
๐๏ธ Eye Protection
Safety eyewear complying with an approved standard should be used when a risk assessment indicates this is necessary to avoid exposure to liquid splashes, mists, gases or dusts. If contact is possible, the following protection should be worn, unless the assessment indicates a higher degree of protection: safety glasses with side-shields.
๐ท Respiratory Protection
Use appropriate respiratory protection if there is the potential to exceed the exposure limit(s). Seek professional advice prior to respirator selection and use. Select respirator based on suitability to provide adequate worker protection for given working conditions and level of airborne contaminant.
๐ฆบ Skin/Body Protection
Body protection: Personal protective equipment for the body should be selected based on the task being performed and the risks involved and should be approved by a specialist before handling this product. Other skin protection: Appropriate footwear and any additional skin protection measures should be selected based on the task being performed and the risks involved and should be approved by a specialist before handling this product.
๐ Environmental Exposure Controls
Emissions from ventilation or work process equipment should be checked to ensure they comply with the requirements of environmental protection legislation. In some cases, fume scrubbers, filters or engineering modifications to the process equipment will be necessary to reduce emissions to acceptable levels.
