Emergency First Aid Measures
Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies
๐ซ Inhalation Exposure
Not expected to present a significant inhalation hazard under anticipated conditions of normal use. If exposure symptoms persist, seek medical advice.
๐๏ธ Skin Contact
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Immediately flush the contact area with plenty of water. Gently wash with plenty of soap and water. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops.
Symptoms:
Repeated or prolonged skin contact may cause dermatitis and defatting.
๐๏ธ Eye Contact
Rinse immediately and thoroughly, pulling the eyelids well away from the eye (15 minutes minimum). Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
Symptoms:
May cause slight temporary irritation.
๐ฝ๏ธ Ingestion/Swallowing
Caution if victim vomits: Risk of aspiration! Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that vomit does not enter the lungs. Ingestion of large quantities: immediately to hospital.
Symptoms:
Risk of aspiration (if victim vomits). Symptoms may be delayed. Ingestion may result in nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhoea.
๐จ Immediate Medical Attention Required
Get prompt medical attention (if conscious). Call medical assistance immediately (in case of cardiac arrest or if unconscious but breathing). Immediately to hospital (for ingestion of large quantities). Seek medical advice if inhalation symptoms persist. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops (skin contact).
Fire Fighting Measures & Emergency Response
Fire suppression methods, extinguishing media, and firefighting safety procedures
โ Suitable Extinguishing Media
Water spray. Foam. Water fog. SMALL FIRES: Dry chemicals, sand, water spray, foam.
โ Unsuitable Extinguishing Media
Do not use water jet.
โ ๏ธ Specific Fire Hazards
Fire hazard: Combustible products. Explosion hazard: None known.
๐ก๏ธ Firefighter Protection Equipment
Proper protective equipment including chemical resistant gloves are to be worn; chemical resistant suit is indicated if large contact with spilled product is expected. Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) must be worn when approaching a fire in a confined space. Select fire fighter's clothing approved to relevant Standards (e.g. Europe: EN469).

Technical Specifications & Material Properties
Physical state, chemical properties, melting point, boiling point, and material characteristics
Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment
๐ญ Engineering Controls
Use explosion-proof ventilating equipment. Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation to minimize vapor concentrations.
๐งค Hand Protection
Wear suitable gloves tested to EN 374. NBR (Nitrile rubber). Break through time: 480 min. Thickness of glove material: 0.35 mm. Suitability and durability of a glove is dependent on usage, e.g. frequency and duration of contact, chemical resistance of glove material, dexterity. Always seek advice from glove suppliers. Contaminated gloves should be replaced.
๐๏ธ Eye Protection
Chemical goggles or safety glasses. DIN EN 166.
๐ท Respiratory Protection
The need for respiratory protection is not anticipated under normal use conditions and with adequate ventilation. In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection. Wear a respirator conforming to EN140 with Type A/P2 filter or better.
๐ฆบ Skin/Body Protection
Wear suitable protective clothing. EN 14605.
๐ Environmental Exposure Controls
Avoid direct discharge into drains. Can be disposed as waste water according to local regulation. Contain any spills with dikes or absorbents to prevent migration and entry into sewers or streams.
