Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Verwijder het slachtoffer van de plek van blootstelling zonder zelf gevaar te lopen tijdens deze handeling. Indien het slachtoffer bij bewustzijn is hem helpen zitten of liggen. De persoon zo snel mogelijk naar het ziekenhuis brengen.
Symptoms: Risico op irritatie van de keel met een drukkend gevoel op de borst. Blootstelling kan hoest of ademhalingsproblemen veroorzaken.
Verontreinigde of bespatte kledij en schoenen onmiddellijk uittrekken, tenzij ze aan de huid kleven. Zich onmiddellijk wassen met zeep en water.
Symptoms: Mogelijke irritaties en roodheid op de besmette plek.
De ogen met veel water spoelen gedurende 15 minuten. Naar het ziekenhuis gaan voor een grondig onderzoek.
Symptoms: Risico op hevige pijn. De ogen kunnen overvloedig tranen.
Geen braken opwekken. De mond spoelen met water. Indien het slachtoffer bij bewustzijn is hem onmiddellijk 1/2 liter water laten drinken. Een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Risico op een pijnlijke en rode mond en keel. Risico op misselijkheid en maagpijn.
Immediate Medical Attention
Naar het ziekenhuis gaan voor een grondig onderzoek (bij oogcontact). De persoon zo snel mogelijk naar het ziekenhuis brengen (bij inademing). Een arts raadplegen (bij inslikken).
