First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Het slachtoffer in frisse lucht brengen. Als ademhaling onregelmatig is of gestopt is, kunstmatige beademing toepassen. Het slachtoffer warm en rustig houden. Onmiddellijk medische hulp/advies zoeken.
Symptoms: Kan irritatie van de bovenste luchtwegen veroorzaken. Overmatige inhalatie van hoge concentraties kan misselijkheid, braken, hoofdpijn en duizeligheid veroorzaken.
Spoel de huid onmiddellijk met water en was de huid gedurende ten minste 5-10 minuten met water en zeep. Gebruik indien mogelijk lauwwarm water. Verwijder besmette kleding en schoenen. Zoek medische zorg indien de roodheid niet verdwijnt.
Symptoms: Kan roodheid en zwellingen van de huid veroorzaken. Absorptie van schadelijke hoeveelheden is niet waarschijnlijk.
Belangrijk! Spoel onmiddellijk voorzichtig gedurende ten minste 15 minuten met mild stromend water. Verwijder contactlenzen, indien aanwezig en dit eenvoudig gaat. Ga door met spoelen. Zoek medische hulp.
Symptoms: Kan ernstige irritatie met tranenvloed en pijn veroorzaken en sterke roodheid en zwelling van het oog. Kans op schade aan het bindvlies en hoornvlies.
Mond schoonmaken met water en daarna veel water drinken. GEEN braken opwekken. Onmiddellijk medische hulp/advies zoeken.
Symptoms: Kan irritatie van de mond, keel, slokdarm en maag veroorzaken, met inbegrip van hevige pijn. Misselijkheid, braken, diarree, duizeligheid of slaperigheid en hoofdpijn kunnen ook optreden.
