First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Slachtoffer naar de frisse lucht brengen en warm en rustig houden. Bij het inademen van dampen kunnen vergiftigingsverschijnselen ook pas na uren optreden, daarom in ieder geval een dokter raadplegen.
Water en zeep
Bij oogcontact ogen met geopende oogleden voldoende lang met water spoelen, daarna direct oogarts consulteren.
Na het inslikken de mond met rijkelijk water uitspoelen (alleen wanneer de persoon bij bewustzijn is) en direct medische hulp inroepen. GEEN braken opwekken. Onmiddellijk mond spoelen en veel water drinken. Laten rusten.

Technische afzuig- of ventilatiemaatregelen.
Tegen oplosmiddelen bestendige veiligheidshandschoenen dragen. Geschikt materiaal: Butylrubber. Doordringtijd (maximale draagduur): 480 min. Dikte van het handschoenenmateriaal: 0,7 mm. Aanbevolen handschoenenfabrikaten: EN ISO 374. Neem de aanwijzingen van de handschoenenleverancier in acht voor wat betreft gebruik, opslag, onderhoud en vervanging van de handschoenen. Handschoenen moeten regelmatig worden vervangen en ook als er sprake is van beschadiging of van aantasting van het materiaal waarvan ze gemaakt zijn. Zorg er altijd voor dat handschoenen niet beschadigd zijn en dat ze op de juiste manier worden gebruikt en bewaard. De werkzaamheid of de effectiviteit van de handschoen kan afnemen door beschadiging, door chemische aantasting of door een onzorgvuldige behandeling. Een afsluitende crème kan helpen om de blootgestelde huiddelen te beschermen. De crème mag echter niet worden gebruikt als de huid al verontreinigd is.
Dichtsluitende veiligheidsbril gebruiken.
Als technische afzuig- of ventilatiemaatregelen niet mogelijk of onvoldoende zijn, moet adembescherming gedragen worden. Bij overschrijding van de grenswaarden op de werkplek moet een voor dit doel toegelaten ademhalingstoestel gedragen worden. Geschikte ademhalingsapparatuur: DIN EN 12942:2009-02 Filterapparaat met filter resp. compressorfilterapparaat type: A.
Personeel dient antistatische kleding te dragen van een natuurlijk materiaal of van een hittebestendig synthetisch materiaal.
