Firefighting Measures
Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection
Schuim. Droog poeder. Koolstofdioxide. Verneveld water. Zand.
Gebruik geen sterke waterstraal.
Zeer licht ontvlambaar gas. Kan een ontvlambaar/ontplofbaar damp-lucht mengsel vormen. Hitte kan druk en het openbarsten van de gesloten vaten veroorzaken, zodat het vuur zich verspreidt en de kans op brandwonden en verwondingen groter wordt. Er kan een spontane, explosieve heronsteking optreden.
Vermijd dat het bluswater in het milieu terechtkomt. Brand door lekkend gas: niet blussen, tenzij het lek veilig gedicht kan worden. Alle ontstekingsbronnen wegnemen als dat veilig gedaan kan worden. Koel leidingen, vaten, enz. vanuit een beschermde positie met waternevel.
