First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Overbrengen naar de frisse lucht. Pas geassisteerde ademhaling toe als de ademhaling tot stilstand is gekomen of bij zware ademhaling. Ook moet mogelijk extra zuurstof worden toegediend. Als het hart tot stilstand is gekomen, moet getraind personeel onmiddellijk overgaan tot cardiopulmonaire resuscitatie. In geval van ademnood zuurstof toedienen.
Symptoms: Blootstelling aan atmosferen met onvoldoende zuurstof kan de volgende symptomen veroorzaken: Duizeligheid. Vorming van speeksel. Misselijkheid. Braken. Verlies van bewustzijn.

Een persluchtapparaat of ademlucht met positieve druk en masker moeten gebruikt worden in een omgeving met tekort aan zuurstof. Ademhalingstoestellen die de lucht zuiveren bieden geen bescherming. Gebruikers van ademhalingsapparatuur (perslucht) moeten geoefend zijn.
Tijdens het werken met cilinders is het aangeraden veiligheidsschoenen te dragen.
