Inhalation

Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. In case of persistent throat irritation or coughing: Seek medical attention and bring these instructions.

Symptoms: persistent throat irritation or coughing

Skin contact

Remove contaminated clothing. Flush skin thoroughly with water. Get medical attention if irritation persists after washing.

Symptoms: irritation

Eye contact

Immediately rinse with water. Continue to rinse for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Symptoms: discomfort

Ingestion

Immediately rinse mouth and drink plenty of water. Keep person under observation. If person becomes uncomfortable seek hospital and bring these instructions. NEVER MAKE AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON VOMIT OR DRINK FLUIDS! Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs, the head should be kept low so that stomach vomit doesn't enter the lungs.

Symptoms: uncomfortable

Immediate Medical Attention

Seek medical attention and bring these instructions if symptoms persist.

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

alcohol-resistant foam, carbon dioxide or dry powder

Unsuitable media

water jet

Specific hazards

By heating and fire, toxic vapours/gases may be formed.

Instructions

Avoid breathing fire vapours. Keep run-off water out of sewers and water sources. Dike for water control.

Firefighter Protection

Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Wear protective clothing as described in Section 8 of this safety data sheet. Provide adequate ventilation. Avoid inhalation of vapours and aerosol spray. In case of spills, beware of slippery floors and surfaces.

Small spill

Smaller quantities of residue may be collected by an absorbent.

Large spill

Dam and absorb spillage with sand, sawdust or other absorbent. Collect in containers and seal securely.

Environmental

Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.
