Emergency First Aid Measures

Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies

๐Ÿซ Inhalation Exposure

Remove the victim into fresh air. Respiratory problems: consult a doctor/medical service.

Symptoms:

AFTER INHALATION OF DUST: Irritation of the respiratory tract. Irritation of the nasal mucous membranes.

๐Ÿ–๏ธ Skin Contact

Wash immediately with lots of water. Soap may be used. Do not apply (chemical) neutralizing agents without medical advice. Remove clothing before washing. Take victim to a doctor if irritation persists.

Symptoms:

ON CONTINUOUS EXPOSURE/CONTACT: Tingling/irritation of the skin.

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Eye Contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Do not apply (chemical) neutralizing agents without medical advice. Take victim to an ophthalmologist if irritation persists.

Symptoms:

Corrosion of the eye tissue.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Ingestion/Swallowing

Rinse mouth with water. Give nothing to drink. Victim is fully conscious: immediately induce vomiting. Do not apply (chemical) neutralizing agents without medical advice. Immediately consult a doctor/medical service.

Symptoms:

No effects known.

๐Ÿšจ Immediate Medical Attention Required

Depending on the victim's condition, consult a doctor/hospital. For respiratory problems, consult a doctor/medical service. If skin irritation persists, take victim to a doctor. If eye irritation persists, take victim to an ophthalmologist. Immediately consult a doctor/medical service after ingestion.
