Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Des substances dangereuses peuvent se former lors de l'utilisation (voir chapitre 10). Assurer une ventilation adquate, surtout dans les endroits clos. Rduire au minimum les concentrations d'exposition au travail.

Hands

Polythylne gloves with a breakthrough time of 30 minutes and a thickness of 0.025 mm. Equipment must comply with EN NBN 374. The choice of glove type should be based on the concentration and quantity of hazardous substances. In special applications, it is recommended to consult the glove manufacturer for chemical resistance.

Eyes

Safety glasses. Equipment must comply with EN NBN 166.

Respiratory

If adequate local exhaust ventilation is not available or if exposure assessment demonstrates exposures beyond recommended guidelines, use respiratory protection. Equipment must comply with EN NBN 14387. Filter type: Mixed type protecting against particles and organic vapors (A-P).

Skin/Body

Appropriate protective clothing should be chosen based on chemical resistance data and an assessment of local exposure potential. It is important to avoid skin contact by using impermeable protective clothing (gloves, aprons, boots, etc.).
