Freiberufliche Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit

About the role

We’re looking for a qualified Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit with a focus on chemical agents (Gefahrstoffe) to join our freelance network in Germany. You’ll help NextSDS clients assess risks related to hazardous substances, maintain compliance, and implement safe handling practices.

What you’ll do

• Conduct Gefährdungsbeurteilungen specifically for hazardous substances (Gefahrstoffe)
• Review and validate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for CLP and REACH compliance
• Advise on AGW (Arbeitsplatzgrenzwerte), storage, and safe handling of chemical agents
• Support clients with their obligations under the Gefahrstoffverordnung and TRGS
• Collaborate with the NextSDS team to deliver data-driven safety insights

What we’re looking for

• A qualified Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit (FaSi/SiFa) with relevant certifications
• Strong knowledge of German hazardous substance legislation (GefStoffV, TRGS, ArbSchG)
• Hands-on experience with REACH, CLP, and SDS management
• Excellent communication skills in German
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements
