Freelance Preventiemedewerker
Help Dutch clients manage chemical agents (chemische agentia) in the workplace. You bring expertise in RI&E, SDS management, and REACH/CLP compliance.
About the role
We’re looking for a certified Preventiemedewerker with a focus on chemical agents (chemische agentia) to join our freelance network in the Netherlands. You’ll support NextSDS clients with risk inventories for hazardous substances, compliance, and safe handling of chemical agents.
What you’ll do
- Conduct RI&E assessments specifically for chemical agents in the workplace
- Review and validate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for CLP and REACH compliance
- Advise on occupational exposure limits (grenswaarden), storage, and safe handling
- Support clients with their obligations under the Arbowet and the Arbeidsomstandighedenbesluit (chemical agents)
- Collaborate with the NextSDS team to deliver data-driven safety insights
What we’re looking for
- A certified Preventiemedewerker or higher safety professional (MVK/HVK)
- Strong knowledge of Dutch occupational safety legislation (Arbowet, Arbobesluit, chemical agents section)
- Hands-on experience with RI&E, REACH, CLP, and SDS management
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements
