First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Skin contact

Should the activated product come into contact with skin, remove contaminated clothing immediately. Rinse skin with water. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Symptoms: Once activated using water, this product produces peractic acid which maybe corrosive to skin. Risk of skin irritation and corrosion.

Eye contact

If the product enters eyes rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do so. Continue rinsing.

Symptoms: This product could cause damage to eyes. Risk of serious damage to eyes.

Ingestion

If swallowed, wash mouth out thoroughly and give water to drink. Seek immediate medical attention. Do not induce vomiting unless instructed by medical personnel.

Symptoms: Once made wet the peracetic acid produced may be harmful if ingested.
