Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

Use dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

Unsuitable media

Cool container with spray water from a save distance. Contain escaping vapours with water. Prevent fire-fighting water from entering surface water or groundwater.

Specific hazards

Combustible. Vapours heavier than air. Forms explosive mixtures with air at ambient temperatures. Development of hazardous combustion gases or vapours possible in the event of fire.

Instructions

Cool container with spray water from a save distance. Contain escaping vapours with water.

Firefighter Protection

Do not stay in dangerous zone without self-contained breathing apparatus and wear suitable protective clothing.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection
