First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Remove to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

Symptoms: respiratory irritation

Skin contact

Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove and wash contaminated clothing and gloves, including the inside, before re-use.

Symptoms: skin irritation

Eye contact

Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes.

Symptoms: serious eye irritation

Ingestion

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice.

Immediate Medical Attention

Immediate medical attention is required for skin and eye contact. Get medical attention if ingestion symptoms occur. If inhalation symptoms persist, call a doctor. If skin irritation occurs, get medical advice/attention. For inhalation, immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician.
