First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Assure fresh air breathing.

Symptoms: High concentrations cause rapid circulatory insufficiency. Symptoms are headache, nausea and vomiting, which may lead to unconsciousness.

Skin contact

Rinse skin with water/shower. Wash with plenty of soap and water.

Symptoms: Contact during a long period may cause slight irritation.

Eye contact

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persist.
