First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Symptoms: Not applicable.

Skin contact

Wash off with soap and water. In the case of skin irritation or allergic reactions see a physician.

Symptoms: Causes severe skin burns.

Eye contact

Hold eyelids apart and flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical attention.

Symptoms: Causes severe eye burns.

Ingestion

Clean mouth with water and drink afterwards plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. Consult a physician if necessary.

Symptoms: If ingested, severe burns of the mouth and throat, as well as a danger of perforation of the oesophagus and the stomach.
