When breathing is difficult, properly trained personnel may assist affected person by administering 100% oxygen. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Symptoms: respiratory irritant

Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash off immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. If irritation occurs seek medical attention.

Symptoms: May cause transitory mechanical dermatitis or irritation.

Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Keep eye wide open while rinsing. Get medical attention.

Rinse out mouth with water. Do NOT induce vomiting unless directed by physician. Dilute stomach contents by slowly giving one to two glasses of water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Get immediate medical attention.

Follow standard procedure for chemical fire

Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing vapors / mist / gas / dust. Avoid contact with the skin, eyes, clothing. Take off contaminated clothing and shoes immediately. Wash contaminated clothing before re-use. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.

The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil.

Remove or clean up material in powder form if possible. Pick up and transfer to properly labelled containers.

Avoid formation of dust. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Avoid breathing dust, mist or vapor. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in the application area. Use only in an area equipped with a safety shower.

Store in original container. Store in cool dry well ventilated area. Keep containers tightly closed. Keep away from food, drink and animal food stuffs.

Impervious gloves. The selected protective gloves have to satisfy the specifications of EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 derived from it. The choice of an appropriate glove does not only depend on its material but also on other quality features and is different from one producer to the other. The break through time depends amongst other things on the material, the thickness and the type of glove and therefore has to be measured for each case. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Replace gloves when worn. Do not wear leather gloves.

Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166 (EU). Tightly fitting safety goggles. Wear face-shield and protective suit for abnormal processing problems.

In the case of dust or aerosol formation use respirator with an approved filter to minimize inhalation of dust. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).

Choose body protection in relation to its type, to the concentration and amount of dangerous substances, and to the specific workplace. Wear protective gloves / protective clothing/ eye protection / face protection.
