First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Supply fresh air and to be sure call for a doctor. In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation.

Skin contact

Immediately wash with water and soap and rinse thoroughly.

Eye contact

Rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

Ingestion

If symptoms persist consult doctor.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray or alcohol resistant foam.

Unsuitable media

Water with full jet

Specific hazards

Can form explosive gas-air mixtures.

Instructions

Cool container whit water

Firefighter Protection

Mouth respiratory protective device.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.

Environmental

Do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course. Inform respective authorities in case of seepage into water course or sewage system. Do not allow to enter sewers/ surface or ground water.

Cleanup methods

Do not flush with water or aqueous cleansing agents

Handling and Storage

Safe handling precautions, storage conditions, and workplace requirements

Handling

Keep away from heat and direct sunlight. Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at the workplace. Take note of emission threshold. Use only in well ventilated areas. Ensure good interior ventilation, especially at floor level. (Fumes are heavier than air).

Storage

Store in a cool location. Observe official regulations on storing packagings with pressurized containers. Protect from heat and direct sunlight.

Fire prevention

Do not spray onto a naked flame or any incandescent material. Keep ignition sources away - Do not smoke.

08

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Hands

Protective gloves. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation. Material of gloves: Nitrile rubber, NBR. Penetration time of glove material: Gloves must be changed after every contamination. The exact break trough time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed. For the permanent contact of a maximum of 15 minutes gloves made of the following materials are suitable: butyl rubber, 0,7mm

Eyes

Tightly sealed goggles

Respiratory

When workers are facing concentrations above the exposure limit they must use appropriate certified respirators. Half mask with combination filter, class A1P2 minimum, or breathing mask with outer air supply.
