Do not place wet or damp solid into melt tank. Follow suggested application temperature. Always be careful around molten material. Avoid skin contact with molten resins. Do not wear contact lenses. Avoid dust formation.

For safe storage, store at or below 34 °C (93.2 °F) Keep cool in accordance with information on label and in Technical Data Sheets.

Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Work should be done in an adequately ventilated area (i.e., ventilation sufficient to maintain concentrations below one half of the PEL and other relevant standards). Local exhaust ventilation is recommended when general ventilation is not sufficient to control airborne contamination.

Insulated gloves are strongly recommended when working with molten adhesive.

Eyes

Safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields. Full face protection should be used if the potential for splashing or spraying of product exists. Do not wear contact lenses.

Respiratory

No personal respiratory protective equipment normally required. Where the potential exists for exposure to decomposition products due to heating or elevated temperatures, wear NIOSH approved respiratory protection as appropriate. Observe OSHA regulations for respirator use (29 CFR 1910.134). Solid Resin: Dust safety masks are recommended when the potential for dust inhalation exists.
