First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Assure fresh air breathing. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops.

Skin contact

Rinse affected area thoroughly with water to remove concentrated product. Remove contaminated clothing.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately and for a long time with plenty of water. Seek medical attention if the irritation persists.

Symptoms: Inadequate first aid may lead to persisting eye complaints.

Ingestion

Wash out mouth and do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.

Immediate Medical Attention

Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops (inhalation), if irritation persists (eye), or generally after ingestion.

Medical Treatment

No specific recommendations.

05

Firefighting Measures

Extinguishing media, specific hazards, and firefighter protection

Suitable media

All extinguishing media can be used.

Unsuitable media

Contains oxidizing percarbonate that can release oxygen by activation. Therefore don't sprinkle water on dry product.

Specific hazards

None.

Firefighter Protection

Exercise caution when fighting any chemical fire. See Heading 8.

06

Accidental Release Measures

Spill cleanup procedures, containment, and environmental protection

Emergency procedures

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Equip cleanup crew with proper protection. See Heading 8. Clean-up released powder in time.

Environmental

Avoid release to the environment.

Cleanup methods

Collect usable powder residues in a clean, lockable container for reuse. Sweep polluted powder as chemical waste and remove the residue with water and plunger.

Materials: clean, lockable container, water and plunger
