First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

If affected, remove to fresh air, keep warm and at rest. Obtain medical attention in severe cases.

Symptoms: Mist may cause irritation to the respiratory tract

Skin contact

Immediately remove all contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water. In severe cases obtain medical help.

Symptoms: May cause irritation/allergic reaction

Eye contact

In case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10-15 minutes. Obtain medical attention if irritation persists

Symptoms: May cause mild irritation

Ingestion

Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Wash out mouth with water and give copious amounts of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Obtain medical advice if patient unwell.

Symptoms: May cause irritation to the mouth, throat and digestive tract

Immediate Medical Attention

Obtain medical attention in severe cases (inhalation, skin contact), if irritation persists (eye contact), or if patient is unwell (ingestion).
