First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Assure fresh air breathing. Allow the victim to rest. Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops.

Symptoms: None under normal conditions. Irritation of the bronchial tract, narcotic effects, dizziness and headaches may occur with high vapour concentrations.

Skin contact

Rinse affected area thoroughly with water to remove concentrated product. Remove contaminated clothing.

Symptoms: Prolonged or repeated skin contact with the material may remove natural oils.

Eye contact

Rinse immediately and for at least 15 minutes with copious amounts of water (also assure adequate flushing under the eyelids and if possible after having removed contact lenses). Bring the victim to an ophthalmist.

Symptoms: Slight eye irritant.

Ingestion

Wash out mouth and do not induce vomiting! Let the victim drink 2 glasses of water on his own. Seek medical attention. Seek medical advice.

Symptoms: Abdominal pain. Diarrhea. Headache. Vomiting.

Immediate Medical Attention

Seek medical attention if ill effect or irritation develops (inhalation). Bring the victim to an ophthalmist (eye contact). Seek medical attention. Seek medical advice (ingestion).

Medical Treatment

No specific recommendations.
