First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Take victim to fresh air, in a quiet place and if necessary take medical advice.

Symptoms: Irritating to the respiratory system, may cause throat pain and cough.

Skin contact

Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wash off immediately with plenty of water. In case of faintness or symptoms of skin irritation appear, take medical advice.

Eye contact

Wash with plenty of water (during 20 minutes minimum) with eyes wide open, keeping contact lenses and immediately take medical advice.

Ingestion

Rinse mouth, do not vomit, keep quiet, and go immediately to hospital or to a doctor.

Symptoms: Burns of the upper digestive and respiratory tracts.
