First Aid

Emergency First Aid Measures

Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies

Inhalation Exposure

In case of massive inhalation and symptoms of dizziness/vertigo, move the victim to fresh air.

Symptoms:

Dizziness/vertigo. No foreseeable adverse effects by this exposure route, which can only be accidental under normal conditions of use.

Eye Contact

Rinse the eye abundantly with lukewarm (20-25°C), soft and clean water (or physiological saline), for at least 15 minutes, keeping the eyelids open. Avoid splashes towards the unaffected eye (e.g., with a compress). Water flow always from the nose towards the ear. Move the eye in all directions during rinsing. Remove contact lenses if the victim wears them and if they can be easily removed. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, or in case of new symptoms (pain, visual discomfort), consult an ophthalmologist.

Symptoms:

Eye irritation, pain, visual discomfort.

Ingestion/Swallowing

Rinse mouth. DO NOT induce vomiting, nor make the victim drink (unless otherwise advised by a doctor). Immediately consult a doctor and show them the product's SDS. Move the victim to fresh air and keep them warm and at rest, in a position where they can breathe comfortably.

Immediate Medical Attention Required

Immediately consult a doctor and show them the product's SDS. If eye irritation persists, or in case of new symptoms (pain, visual discomfort), consult an ophthalmologist. In case of skin irritation or allergic manifestation, consult a doctor. Seek advice from a poison control center or a toxicologist. Consult your treating physician and show them this SDS.

Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment

Engineering Controls
