First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
De huid onmiddellijk wassen met water en zeep. De gecontamineerde kleren met inbegrip van de schoenen verwijderen, ze alleen terug aantrekken na reiniging.
Symptoms: irritatie, huidletsels
Overvloedig reinigen met proper en zacht water gedurende 15 minuten terwijl de oogleden geopend zijn.
Na inslikken van kleine hoeveelheden (niet meer dan een slok), de mond met water uitspoelen en een arts raadplegen. Rustig houden. Niet laten braken. Een arts raadplegen en hem het etiket laten zien. Bij toevallige inname een arts raadplegen om te beslissen over een bewaking en een latere behandeling in een ziekenhuis, indien nodig. Het etiket tonen.
Immediate Medical Attention
Ingeval van twijfel of indien de verschijnselen aanhouden, altijd een arts waarschuwen. Medisch advies inwinnen indien de irritatie aanhoudt. Bij contaminatie van grote huidoppervlakken en/of wanneer huidletsels tevoorschijn komen, is het noodzakelijk een arts te raadplegen of de persoon naar een ziekenhuis of kliniek te laten overbrengen. Na inslikken van kleine hoeveelheden (niet meer dan een slok), een arts raadplegen. Bij toevallige inname een arts raadplegen om te beslissen over een bewaking en een latere behandeling in een ziekenhuis, indien nodig.

Gebruik geschikte beschermende handschoenen die bestand zijn tegen chemische stoffen en voldoen aan de norm EN374. De handschoenen moeten worden gekozen volgens de toepassing en de gebruiksduur op de werkplek. Aanbevolen type handschoenen: Nitrielrubber (Copolymeer butadien-acrylonitriel (NBR)), PVA (Polyvinylalcohol). Aanbevolen kenmerken: Waterdichte handschoenen volgens de norm EN374. Doordringingstijd: > 480 min voor een dikte >0,45 mm. CEN-aanbevelingen: EN 420 en EN 374/3.
Vermijd contact met de ogen. Gebruik oogbeschermingen, ontworpen tegen het spatten van vloeistoffen. Voor het hanteren moet een veiligheidsbril worden opgezet die voldoet aan de norm EN166.
Draag een halfgelaats-filtermasker tegen stof voor eenmalig gebruik volgens de norm EN149. Klasse: FFP2. Draag een halfgelaatsmasker volgens de norm EN140. Filter(s) tegen gas en dampen (gecombineerde filters) volgens de norm EN14387: A1 (Bruin), AX (Bruin). Deeltjesfilter volgens de norm EN143: P2 (Wit). CEN-aanbevelingen: EN 136, EN 140, EN 405 voor maskers en EN 143, EN 149 voor filters.
Vermijd contact met de huid. Draag een gepaste werkkleding. Geschikt soort beschermende kleding: Bij sterk spatten moet vloeistofdichte beschermende kleding worden gedragen tegen chemische risico's (type 3), volgens de norm EN14605 om elk contact met de huid te voorkomen. Bij gevaar voor spatten moet beschermende kleding worden gedragen tegen chemische risico's (type 6), volgens de norm EN13034 om elk contact met de huid te voorkomen. Het personeel dient regelmatig gewassen werkkleding te dragen. Na contact met het product moeten alle besmette lichaamsdelen gewassen worden.
