Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
In de frisse lucht brengen. Een arts raadplegen na een aanzienlijke blootstelling.
Verontreinigde kleding en schoenen onmiddellijk uittrekken. Afwassen met zeep en veel water. Indien symptomen aanhouden, een arts raadplegen.
Oog/ogen onmiddellijk met veel water spoelen. Contactlenzen uitnemen. Tijdens spoelen ogen goed open houden. Indien oogirritatie aanhoudt een specialist raadplegen.
Geen braken opwekken zonder medisch advies. Mond spoelen met water. Geen melk of alcoholische dranken geven. Nooit een bewusteloos persoon laten drinken (of eten).

Houdt de concentraties in lucht benden de MAC waarden. Voor geschikte ventilatie zorgen, vooral in gesloten ruimten. Verzeker van adequate ventilatie. Dit kan worden bereikt via locale puntafzuiging of door algemene ventilatie (EN 689 - Methoden voor het bepalen van blootstelling bij inademing). Dit geldt met name bij de mengomgeving.
Wanneer een risicoanalyse aangeeft dat dit noodzakelijk is, dienen bij het hanteren van chemische producten ondoorlaat- bare handschoenen te worden gedragen die resistent zijn tegen chemicaliën en die voldoen aan een goedgekeurde norm. Geschikt voor kort gebruik of bescherming tegen spatten: handschoenen van butyl rubber/nitril rubber (> 0,1 mm) Verontreinigde handschoenen moeten worden verwijderd. Geschikt voor permanente blootstelling: Viton handschoenen (0.4 mm), doorbraaktijd> 30 min.

Bij ontoereikende ventilatie adembescherming dragen. De keuze van een masker moet gebaseerd worden op verwachte blootstellingslimieten, de gevaren van het product en de limieten voor veilig werken van het type masker. filter voor organische dampen (type A) A1: < 1000 ppm; A2: < 5000 ppm; A3: < 10000 ppm
Beschermende kleding (b.v. veiligheidschoenen volgens EN ISO 20345, lange mouwen en broek). Rubber schorten en veiligheidsschoenen zijn aanvullend aanbevolen bij het mengen en roeren
