First Aid Measures

Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents

Inhalation

Kunstmatige beademing met beademingszak of beademingstoestel. Verse lucht of zuurstof aanvoeren; deskundige medische hulp inroepen. Bij bewusteloosheid ligging en vervoer in stabiele zijligging. Corrosieve stoffen kunnen de longen beschadigen (d.w.z. daar deze reactie vertraagd kan plaatsvinden tot 24 uur na blootstelling, hebben getroffen personen complete rust nodig (bij voorkeur in halfzittende houding) en moeten onder medische observatie gehouden worden zelfs indien (nog) geen symptomen opgetreden zijn.)

Symptoms: Inhalering van dampen en aerosolen (nevel, rook) kan longoedeem veroorzaken.

Skin contact

Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken en wassen alvorens deze opnieuw te gebruiken. Verontreinigde kleding en huid onmiddellijk met veel water afspoelen en pas daarna kleding uittrekken. Medische behandeling onmiddellijk noodzakelijk. Het niet behandelen van brandwonden kan leiden tot een vertraagd genezingsproces.

Symptoms: irritatie / roodheid

Eye contact

Wees zeker van complete bevochtiging van de ogen door de oogleden uit elkaar te houden en weg van het oog en beweeg de oogleden af en toe door de bovenste oogleden en onderste oogleden op te tillen. Het verwijderen van contactlenzen na een oogverwonding dient slechts door getraind personeel te gebeuren. Ogen bij geopend ooglid minimaal 15 minuten met stromend water spoelen. Onmiddellijk deskundig medisch advies inwinnen.

Symptoms: irritatie / roodheid

Ingestion

Mond spoelen en overvloedig water drinken. Geen braken teweegbrengen en onmiddellijk een arts waarschuwen. Onmiddellijk deskundig medisch advies inwinnen.

Symptoms: Bij het slikken sterk bijtende effecten in de mondholte en de keel, bovendien gevaar voor perforatie van de slokdarm en de maag.

Immediate Medical Attention

Medische behandeling onmiddellijk noodzakelijk. Onmiddellijk deskundig medisch advies inwinnen.

Medical Treatment

Bij inslikking of bij braken, gevaar voor indringing in de longen.
