First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Breng het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht, naar een rustige plek, halfliggend en indien noodzakelijk een arts raadplegen. Laat het slachtoffer rusten.
Symptoms: Bij normale omgevingstemperaturen bestaat er door de lage vluchtigheid van dit product waarschijnlijk geen gevaar voor inademen. Kan schadelijk zijn bij inademen als blootstelling aan damp, nevels of rook het gevolg is van thermische ontleding.
De besmette kleding uittrekken en de blootgestelde huid wassen met zachte zeep en water, vervolgens spoelen met warm water. Hogedrukinspuiting onder de huid kan ernstige letsels veroorzaken. Medische hulp inschakelen indien zich een ongewenste uitwerking of irritatie ontwikkelt.
Symptoms: Bij kortstondig of incidenteel contact is schade aan de huid onwaarschijnlijk. Langdurige of herhaalde blootstelling kan de huid echter ontvetten en tot dermatitis leiden. Injectie van het product onder hoge druk kan leiden tot weefselnecrose wanneer het product niet chirurgisch verwijderd wordt.
Contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk. Blijven spoelen. Oogleden oplichten met de vingers en de ogen met ruim water uitspoelen. Medische hulp inroepen indien pijn, knipperen, tranen of roodheid aanhoudt.
Symptoms: Niet langdurige branderigheid of roodheid bij toevallige aanraking met de ogen is onwaarschijnlijk.
Indien men zich onwel voelt: medische dienst/arts raadplegen. Bij spontaan braken: houd het hoofd onder de heupen, om aspiratie te voorkomen. Niet laten braken.
Symptoms: Vieze smaak. Toevallig inslikken van kleine hoeveelheden heeft waarschijnlijk geen schadelijke gevolgen. Grotere hoeveelheden kunnen echter misselijkheid en diarree veroorzaken.
