Voor een langdurig contact van maximaal 15 minuten zijn handschoenen uit de volgende materialen geschikt: butylrubber, 0,7mm.

Ligt de oplosmiddelconcentratie boven de MAC-grenswaarden moet een adembeveilingstoestel worden gedragen dat voor dit doel is toegelaten. Halfmasker met combinatiefilter tenminste filterklasse A1P2 of kunstmatig geventileerd adembeveilingstoestel.
