Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Bij bewusteloosheid de patiënt in stabiele zijligging leggen en een arts raadplegen. Het slachtoffer in de frisse lucht brengen en laten rusten in een houding die het ademen vergemakkelijkt. Bij onwel voelen een arts raadplegen.
Verontreinigde kleding uittrekken. Huid met water afspoelen/afdouchen. Indien de huidirritatie blijft aanhouden, een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Brandwonden.
Spoel onmiddellijk de ogen grondig met water gedurende minstens 15 minuten. Contactlenzen verwijderen, indien mogelijk. Blijven spoelen. Ogen met open ooglid een aantal minuten onder stromend water afspoelen en aansluitend arts consulteren.
Symptoms: Ernstig oogletsel.
De mond spoelen. Niet laten braken zonder medisch advies. Bij onwel voelen een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Brandwonden.
