First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
In de frisse lucht plaatsen. Raadpleeg een arts als de symptomen zich ontwikkelen of aanhouden.
Met zeep en water wassen. Wanneer irritatie ontstaat en aanhoudt, dient u medische hulp in te roepen.
Symptoms: irritatie
Spoel de ogen onmiddellijk met veel water, gedurende minstens 15 minuten. Eventuele contactlenzen verwijderen, indien dit gemakkelijk kan gebeuren. Blijven spoelen. Wanneer irritatie ontstaat en aanhoudt, dient u medische hulp in te roepen.
Symptoms: Ernstige oogirritatie. De symptomen kunnen onder andere zijn: steken, scheuren, roodheid, opzwelling en onscherp gezichtsvermogen.
De mond spoelen. Bij braken het hoofd laag houden, zodat de maaginhoud niet in de longen kan komen. Bij onwel voelen een arts raadplegen.
Immediate Medical Attention
Raadpleeg een arts als de symptomen zich ontwikkelen of aanhouden (inademing). Wanneer irritatie ontstaat en aanhoudt, dient u medische hulp in te roepen (huid en ogen). Bij onwel voelen een arts raadplegen (inslikken).

Zorg voor algemene ondersteunende maatregelen en behandel symptomatisch. Houd het slachtoffer warm.

Draag een veiligheidsbril met zij-afscherming (of een veiligheidsbril die geheel op het gezicht aansluit). Een gelaatsscherm wordt aanbevolen. CEN : EN 166
Bij ontoereikende ventilatie een geschikte adembescherming dragen. Gebruik bij onvoldoende ventilatie een ademhalingsmasker met filter type: P3. CEN : EN 140; EN 143; EN 149

Breng het hiervoor aangewezen leidinggevend of toezichthoudend personeel altijd op de hoogte wanneer een stof onbedoeld vrijkomt. Emissies van ventilatie- of procesapparatuur moet worden gecontroleerd om na te gaan dat zij voldoen aan de vereisten van milieubeschermingswetten. Rookgaswassers, filters of technische aanpassingen aan de procesapparatuur kunnen nodig zijn om de emissies tot aanvaardbaar niveaus te brengen.
