Slachtoffer naar de frisse lucht brengen en warm en rustig houden. Bij ademhalingsklachten of ademstilstand kunstmatige beademing toepassen. Bij irritatie van de ademhalingswegen arts consulteren.

Onmiddellijk mond spoelen en veel water drinken. Rijkelijk water in kleine slokjes laten drinken (verdunningseffect). Bij onwel voelen een arts raadplegen.
