Veiligheidshandschoenen ter bescherming tegen chemicalin zijn niet vereist. Op grond van falende testen kan geen aanbeveling voor handschoenmateriaal voor het product / de bereiding / het chemicalinmengsel afgegeven worden. Kies handschoenmateriaal rekening houdend met de penetratietijden, de permeatiegraden en de degradatie. Op basis van praktijkervaring bieden handschoenen van neopreen, nitrile en PVC voldoende bescherming. Doorbraaktijd: < 60 minuten. De penetratietijden zijn niet te bepalen volgens methode EN 374 Deel 3.
Bij het omgieten is het gebruik van een veiligheidsbril (EN166) aan te bevelen.
