Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment

Engineering Controls

Possibly use with sufficient exhaust ventilation.

Hand Protection

Handle with butyl gloves (EN 374). Minimum breakthrough time of > 480 minutes, thickness 0.70mm. Check gloves thoroughly before use. Remove gloves neatly without touching the outside with bare hands. The suitability for a specific workplace must be discussed with the manufacturer of the protective gloves.

Eye Protection

Close-fitting safety goggles. Wear a face shield and protective suit in case of exceptional processing problems.

Respiratory Protection

Respiratory protection not needed. In case of nuisance exposure, use type ABEK gas masks.

Skin/Body Protection

Impermeable clothing. The type of protective equipment depends on the concentration and quantity of hazardous substances at the specific workplace.
