Bij mogelijk contact van de huid met het product kan het gebruik van volgens bv. EN 374 beproefde handschoenen voldoend beschermen. De beschermende handschoen moet in ieder geval op zijn werkplaatsspecifieke geschiktheid (bv. mechanische bestendigheid, productverdraagzaamheid, antistatische eigenschappen) worden getest. Aanwijzingen en informatie van de handschoenfabrikant met betrekking tot gebruik, bewaring, onderhoud en vervanging van de handschoenen naleven. De beschermende handschoenen moeten bij beschadiging of eerste slijtageverschijnselen onmiddellijk worden vervangen. Werkzaamheden zodanig organiseren, dat er niet permanent handschoenen moeten worden gedragen.
