Exposure Controls / PPE

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment

Engineering

Sufficient exhaust ventilation should be used if necessary.

Hands

Handle with nitrile gloves (EN 374). Minimum breakthrough time of > 480 minutes, thickness 0.35mm. Inspect gloves thoroughly before use. Remove gloves carefully without touching the outside with bare hands. The suitability for a specific workplace must be discussed with the manufacturer of the protective gloves.

Eyes

Keep eye wash bottle with pure water within reach. Close-fitting safety goggles. Wear a face shield and protective suit in case of exceptional processing problems.

Respiratory

Respiratory protection not required. In case of nuisance exposure, use type ABEK gas masks.

Skin/Body

Impermeable clothing. The type of protective equipment depends on the concentration and quantity of hazardous substances at the specific workplace.
