De te gebruiken beschermende handschoenen, moeten voldoen aan de specificaties van EG regeling 89/686/EEG en de daaruit voortkomende norm EN374, bij voorbeeld KCL 741 Dermatril L (volledig contact), 741 Dermatril L (spat contact). De bovengenoemde doorbraak tijden, werden met materiaalproeven van de aanbevolen handschoenen door KCL in laboratoriummetingen vlgs. EN374 onderzocht. Deze aanbeveling heeft alleen betrekking op het in het veilgheidsinformatieblad genoemde product, dat door ons geleverd wordt voor de door ons aangegeven gebruiksdoeleinden. Wanneer het middel wordt opgelost in of vermengd met andere substanties en onder andere condities dan vermeld in EN374 neemt u dan svp contact op met de leverancier van de CE-goedgekeurde handschoenen (b.v. KCL GmbH, D-36124 Eichenzell, Internet: www.kcl.de).

Het soort lichaamsbescherming moet al naargelang van de concentratie en de hoeveelheid gevaarlijke stoffen op de werkplek gekozen worden. De chemische weerstand van de bescherming moet met de leverancier geregeld worden.
