First Aid

Emergency First Aid Measures

Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies

Inhalation Exposure

Move to fresh air. Call a doctor if symptoms develop or persist.

Skin Contact

Wash with soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs and persists.

Eye Contact

Immediately flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.

Symptoms:

Severe eye irritation. Symptoms may include: stinging, tearing, redness, swelling and blurred vision.

Ingestion/Swallowing

Rinse mouth. Seek medical attention if conditions become noticeable.

Immediate Medical Attention Required

Call a doctor if symptoms develop or persist (inhalation). Seek medical attention if irritation occurs and persists (skin). If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Seek medical attention if conditions become noticeable (ingestion).

Medical Treatment

Provide general supportive measures and treat symptomatically. Keep victim under observation. Symptoms may be delayed.

Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment

Engineering Controls

Oogspoelstation verschaffen.

Hand Protection

Draag gepaste chemisch resistente handschoenen.

Respiratory Protection

Bij ontoereikende ventilatie een geschikte adembescherming dragen. Voorkom nevel/arosolen.

Skin/Body Protection

Draag geschikte beschermende kleding.
