Critical first aid procedures for chemical exposure incidents and medical emergencies
Inhalation Exposure
De patiënt in de frisse lucht brengen, laten rusten en warm houden. Als de ademhaling onregelmatig is of stopt, kunstmatige ademhaling toepassen. Niets via de mond toedienen. Bij bewusteloosheid de patiënt half overeind laten zitten en medische hulp inroepen.
Symptoms:
Onregelmatige of gestopte ademhaling, bewusteloosheid.
Skin Contact
De verontreinigde kleding uittrekken en wassen. De huid zorgvuldig wassen met water en zeep of gebruik een toegestane huidreiniger; geen oplosmiddelen gebruiken.

Eye Contact
Minstens 15 minuten grondig spoelen met veel fris water, hierbij de oogleden van elkaar houden. Medische hulp inroepen.
Ingestion/Swallowing
Indien per ongeluk ingeslikt onmiddellijk medische hulp inroepen. Geen braken opwekken en rust houden. Indien het braken op natuurlijke wijze gebeurt, de patiënt buigen om inhalatie van het product te voorkomen. Nooit iets via de mond toedienen aan bewusteloze personen.
Immediate Medical Attention Required
Medische hulp inroepen bij twijfel, aanhoudende verschijnselen, bewusteloosheid (na inademing), onmiddellijk na inslikken, na oogcontact, of bij huidirritatie.
Medical Treatment
Indien de maag moet worden leeggepompt, adviseren wij om ook de slokdarm en/of luchtpijp te controleren. Het gevaar van longinhalatie moet worden ingeschat m.b.t. de giftigheid, wanneer U leegpomping van de maag overweegt. De keuze om de patiënt te laten braken of niet kan alleen door een arts worden genomen, indien de vloeistof, wanneer ingeademd, snel in de longen kan worden geabsorbeerd en stelselmatige effecten kan veroorzaken. Indien er een verbranding is, moet deze worden behandeld als een thermische, zo snel mogelijk nadat het besmettingsgevaar is verdwenen. Behandel met een ondersteunende therapie. De behandeling moet gebaseerd zijn op de reacties van de patiënt, geëvalueerd door de arts.

Halve gelaatsmaskers, aanbevolen type: gasfilter A, met bruine kleurcode. Bij het spuiten of algemeen in hoge concentraties, dienen geschikte ademshalingsapparaten met toevoer van verse lucht te worden gebruikt.
Skin/Body Protection
Het is aan te raden dat verwerkers van het product, antistatische kleding dragen uit natuurlijke vezes of uit hoog temperatuursbestendige synthetische vezes. Alle van het lichaam die met het product in aanraking gekomen zijn, dienen grondig te worden gereinigd. Geschermingscrmes kunnen helpen om de blootgestelde van de huid te beschernen maar morgen niet toegepast worden wanneer de huid al in contact is geweest met het product.
