Alle gebruikte grondstoffen voldoen aan de eisen voor gebruik bij incidenteel voedselkontakt, gesteld door de FDA en de franse CODEX. Het is onder de naam Fin Grease Codex door de "Commonwealth Department of Primary Industries and Energy" toegestaan voor de smering van apparatuur voor vlees en vleesverwerking waarbij incidenteel voedselkontakt mogelijk is (ref. T89/1887).
