Voorkom stofvorming. Draag geschikte adembescherming in het geval dat stof onvoldoende kan worden afgevoerd. Zorg voor natuurlijke - of mechanische ventilatie om de blootstelling waarden beneden de stofexplosie limieten te houden. Het toepassen van lokale mechanische afzuiging is aan te bevelen op plaatsen waar materiaal in de lucht kan komen zoals in open apparatuur.
Chemisch resistente handschoenen om contact met de huid te vermijden
Ogen beschermen tegen blootstelling. Draag een beschermende bril en zorg ervoor dat spoeluitrusting voor de ogen beschikbaar is.
Indien door hantering stofniveau's ontstaan die leiden tot irritatie, of de limiet van 10 mg per m³ bij 8 uur blootstelling - (zie TWA referentie periode) te bovengaan dient adequate stofbescherming gebruikt worden. (Zie Occupational Exposure Standard - OES), Persoonlijke blootstelling dient in het ideale geval onder het laagst mogelijke niveau van de door OES aanbevolen waarden te blijven.
Draag geschikte beschermende kleding.
