Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Verse lucht toedienen. Betreffende persoon in rusttoestand brengen en warm houden. Bij onregelmatige ademhaling of ademstilstand kunstmatige beademing toepassen. Bij bewusteloosheid stabiele zijligging toepassen en medische advies inwinnen.
Verontreinigde kleding onmiddellijk uittrekken. De huid grondig wassen met water en zeep of een erkende huidreiniger.
Oogleden openhouden en minstens 10 minuten lang rijkelijk met zuiver, vloeiend water spoelen. Contactlenzen uitdoen. Medisch advies inwinnen.
Bij inslikken direkt arts raadplegen. Het slachtoffer laten rusten.
Immediate Medical Attention
Als de ziekteverschijnselen niet van voorbijgaande aard zijn en in geval van twijfel dient medische hulp te worden ingeroepen. Bij bewusteloosheid (na inademing) medisch advies inwinnen. Na oogcontact medisch advies inwinnen. Bij inslikken direct arts raadplegen. Bij verbranding medische hulp inroepen. Bij een ongeval of indien men zich onwel voelt onmiddellijk een arts raadplegen (indien mogelijk het etiket tonen). Dit veiligheidsinformatieblad aan de dienstdoende arts tonen.

Exposure Controls / PPE

If workers, even if not directly involved in product processing, are in a spray booth, ventilation must be present for spray particles and solvent vapors.
Use gloves for prolonged or repeated contact. Protective creams can help protect exposed skin. Wash thoroughly after skin contact. Use chemical-resistant gloves as indicated in standard EN 374: Protective gloves against chemicals and microorganisms. Recommended gloves: Nitrile rubber. Minimum breakthrough time: 480 min. For prolonged and regular contact, a glove with protection class 6 (breakthrough time > 480 minutes according to EN 374) is recommended. For short contact, a glove with protection class 2 or higher (breakthrough time > 30 minutes according to EN 374) is recommended. NOTE: The choice of a specific glove for certain applications and duration of use should also be based on all relevant workplace factors such as, but not limited to: other chemicals used, physical requirements (cut/puncture protection, ease of use, thermal protection), possible bodily reactions to the glove material, and instructions/specifications provided by the glove supplier.
Wearing chemical-resistant safety glasses is mandatory.
If workers, even if not directly involved in product processing, are in a spray booth, ventilation must be present for spray particles and solvent vapors. Under these circumstances, they must wear a fresh-air hood during the spraying process until the concentration has dropped below the MAC value.
Personnel must wear protective clothing. Wash thoroughly after skin contact. Workwear should not consist of textiles that exhibit dangerous melting behavior in case of fire. Wearing anti-static footwear is mandatory.
