First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Frisse lucht. Bij ademstilstand: direct mechanisch beademen, indien nodig zuurstof toedienen. Direct arts waarschuwen.
Met ruim voldoende water afspoelen. Verontreinigde kleding verwijderen. Onmiddellijk een arts waarschuwen.
Symptoms: Ontvettend effect, met vorming van droge en klovende huid.
Uitspoelen met ruim voldoende water. Oogarts raadplegen.
Overbrengen in de frisse lucht. Laat het slachtoffer ethanol (bijvoorbeeld een glas van een 40% alcoholische drank) drinken. Onmiddellijk een arts oproepen (meld het inslikken van methanol). Alleen in uitzonderlijke gevallen, als geen medische hulp beschikbaar kan zijn binnen een uur, braken opwekken (alleen bij slachtoffers die bij volledig bewustzijn blijken) en laat het slachtoffer weer ethanol drinken (ongeveer 0,3 ml van een 40 % alcoholische drank per kg lichaamsgewicht per uur).

Wanneer het middel wordt opgelost in, of vermengd met andere substanties, onder andere condities dan vermeld in EN374 neemt u dan svp contact op met de leverancier van de CE-goedgekeurde handschoenen (b.v. KCL GmbH, D-36124 Eichenzell, Internet: www.kcl.de).
