De keuze van het filtertype is afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid en de karakteristieken van de chemische stof(fen), waarmee op de werkplek wordt omgegaan. Voor wat betreft de karakteristieken van het filter wordt verwezen naar de leverancier van de adembeschermingsmiddelen.
