First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Voor verse lucht zorgen. Bij twijfel of bij aanhoudende symptomen een arts raadplegen.
Na aanraking met de huid onmiddellijk wassen met veel water. Behandeling door een arts is direct noodzakelijk, omdat niet behandelde brandwonden in moeilijk geneesbare wonden kunnen veranderen.
Symptoms: Corrosie, brandwonden
Bij contact met de ogen direct met geopende oogleden 10 tot 15 minuten met stromend water spoelen en oogarts consulteren. Onbeschadigd oog beschermen.
Symptoms: Gevaar voor blindheid, Gevaar voor ernstig oogletsel
Meteen mond uitspoelen en veel water drinken. Onmiddellijk een arts raadplegen.
Symptoms: Maagperforatie, perforatie van de slokdarm en de maag (sterk bijtend effect)
Immediate Medical Attention
Bij twijfel of bij aanhoudende symptomen (inademing) een arts raadplegen. Behandeling door een arts is direct noodzakelijk (huidcontact). Oogarts consulteren (oogcontact). Onmiddellijk een arts raadplegen (inslikken).

Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Draag geschikte handschoenen. Geschikt zijn volgens EN 374 beproefde handschoenen tegen chemicaliën. Voor gebruik lekdichtheid/ondoordringbaarheid bepalen. Er wordt aangeraden om in geval van speciale applicaties de chemische bestendigheid van de bovengenoemde veiligheidshandschoenen samen met de leverancier van de handschoenen na te gaan. De tijden zijn geschatte waarden van metingen bij 22 C en permanent contact. Verhoogde temperaturen als gevolg van verhitte stoffen, lichaamswarmte enz. En een vermindering van de effectieve laagdikte door rekken kan leiden tot een aanzienlijke verkorting van de doorbraaktijd. Neem in geval van twijfel contact op met de fabrikant. Bij een ongeveer 1,5 maal grotere / kleinere laagdikte wordt de respectieve doorbraaktijd verdubbeld / gehalveerd. De gegevens zijn alleen van toepassing op de zuivere stof. Bij overdracht op mengsels van stoffen mogen ze alleen als richtlijn worden beschouwd. Soort materiaal: NBR (Nitrilrubber). Materiaaldikte: >0,3 mm. Doorbraaktijd van het handschoenmateriaal: >480 minuten (permeatieniveau: 6).
Veiligheidsbril met zijbescherming dragen. Gelaatsbescherming dragen.
Adembescherming is noodzakelijk bij: Stofontwikkeling. Deeltjesfilter (EN 143). P1 (filtert minstens 80% van de luchtpartikels, kleurcode: wit).
Rustperioden voor regeneratie van de huid inlassen. Preventieve huidbescherming (huidbeschermende crèmes) wordt aanbevolen.
Vermijden dat het product in afvoerkanalen, oppervlaktewater of grondwater terechtkomt.
