First Aid Measures
Emergency procedures for chemical exposure incidents
Laat de persoon bijkomen in een warme omgeving met frisse lucht. Roep medische hulp in indien de symptomen aanhouden.
Symptoms: Kan bij inademing van hoge concentraties hoofdpijn, duizeligheid, vermoeidheid of misselijkheid veroorzaken.
Verontreinigde kleding verwijderen. Bij huidirritatie onmiddellijk met water afspoelen. Raadpleeg een arts als de irritatie aanhoudt.
Indien mogelijk, onmiddellijk te verwijderen contactlenzen. De ogen enkele minuten met water op de aanbevolen temperatuur spoelen. Bij aanhoudende irritatie contact opnemen met arts, bij voorkeur een oogarts.
Symptoms: Irritatie. Stekende pijn.
Eerst de mond grondig met veel water spoelen en het spoelwater UITSPUWEN. Vervolgens ten minste een halve liter water drinken en contact opnemen met de arts.
Symptoms: Misselijkheid, braken en diarree.
Immediate Medical Attention
Zorg er bij contact met een dokter voor dat u het etiket of dit veiligheidsinformatieblad bij zich heeft.

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
De ventilatie op de werkplek moet een luchtkwaliteit waarborgen die voldoet aan de eisen van de huidige wetgeving voor de werkomgeving. Plaatselijke ventilatie moet worden gebruikt om in de lucht zwevende verontreiniging bij de bron te verwijderen.
Draag handschoenen (EN 374) bij herhaaldelijke of langdurige blootstelling. Gebruik tijdens continu contact handschoenen met een minimale doorbreektijd van ten minste 240 minuten, bij voorkeur meer dan 480 minuten. De meest geschikte beschermende handschoen moet worden gekozen in overleg met de handschoenleverancier, rekening houdend met de risicobeoordeling voor de specifieke taak en de eigenschappen van de betrokken chemicalin. Let erop dat de doorbraaktijd van het materiaal wordt benvloed door de duur van de blootstelling, omgevingstemperatuur, afslijting, etc. Gebaseerd op de chemische eigenschappen van het product worden de volgende handschoenmaterialen (EN 374) aanbevolen: Butylrubber, Neopreenrubber, Nitrilrubber.
Bij gevaar van rechtstreekse blootstelling of opspattend product is het dragen van oogbescherming verplicht. Gebruik nauwsluitende veiligheidsbril conform norm EN166.
Bij onvoldoende ventilatie geschikte ademhalingsbeschermingsapparatuur gebruiken. De meest geschikte adembeschermingsapparatuur moet worden gekozen in overleg met de aangestelde veiligheidsfunctionaris, rekening houdend met de risicobeoordeling voor de specifieke taak. Gebaseerd op de fysieke en chemische eigenschappen van het product, worden de volgende filtertype(s) en/of filtercombinatie(s) aanbevolen: A.
Werk met het product moet zodanig plaatsvinden dat het product niet in riolering, watergangen, bodem en lucht terecht kan komen.
