Exposure Controls & Personal Protective Equipment

Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and required safety equipment

Engineering Controls

Sufficient exhaust ventilation.

Hand Protection

Handle with nitrile gloves (EN 374). Minimum breakthrough time of > 480 minutes, thickness 0.35mm. Inspect gloves thoroughly before use. Remove gloves carefully without touching the outer surface with bare hands. The suitability for a specific workplace must be discussed with the protective glove manufacturer.

Eye Protection

Close-fitting safety goggles. A face shield and protective suit should be worn in case of exceptional processing problems.

Respiratory Protection

Respiratory protection not needed. In case of annoying exposure, use type ABEK gas masks.

Skin/Body Protection

Impermeable clothing. The type of protective equipment depends on the concentration and quantity of hazardous substances at the respective workplace.
