Exposure Controls / PPE
Occupational exposure limits, engineering controls, and protective equipment
Zorgen voor en geschikte plaatselijke afzuiging gedurende het polymerisatieproces. De ovens gebruikt voor het uitharden moeten voorzien zijn van een ventilatie naar de buitenlucht, of worden aangesloten op een geschikte gaswasser. Indien het product is verhit, voor voldoende ventilatie zorgen. Gebruik een algemene verdunningsventilatie en / of plaatselijke afzuiging om de luchtconcentratie onder de relevante blootstellingslimieten te houden en/of de controle te bewaren over stof / rook / gas / nevel / damp of spuitnevel. Indien ventilatie onvoldoende is, gebruik ademhalingsbescherming.
Beschermende handschoenen tegen chemicalin zijn niet vereist.
Oogbescherming wordt niet nodig geacht.
Bij ontoereikende ventilatie een geschikte adembescherming dragen. Gebruik een ademhalingsbescherming (positive druk) met extra luchttoevoer als er een mogelijkheid is tot overexplosie bij een ongecontroleerde vrijstelling, wanneer de blootstellingsniveaus ongekend zijn of onder alle andere omstandigheden waarbij ademhalingsbescherming met luchtfilters onvoldoende bescherming bieden. Een blootstellinganalyse kan nodig zijn om te beslissen of een gasmasker nodig is. Als een gasmasker nodig is, gebruik deze dan als onderdeel van een volledige ademhalingbeschermingsprogramma. Selecteer, op basis van de resultaten van de blootstellingsanalyse, een van de volgende gasmaskertypen om blootstelling door inhalatie te verminderen: Half/volgelaatsmasker met verseluchtsysteem.
