Indien ventilatie onvoldoende is, gebruik ademhalingsbescherming. Een blootstellinganalyse kan nodig zijn om te beslissen of een gasmasker nodig is. Als een gasmasker nodig is, gebruik deze dan als onderdeel van een volledige ademhalingbeschermingsprogramma. Selecteer, op basis van de resultaten van de blootstellingsanalyse, een van de volgende gasmaskertypen om blootstelling door inhalatie te verminderen: Halfgelaatsmasker of volgelaatsmasker geschikt voor organische dampen en partikels. Gebruik een ademhalingsbeschermingsmasker dat voldoet aan EN 140 of EN 136: filter types A & P.
